Iiiiiit's Thursday! I've missed the last couple cause shit just kept going on. Shit decided to go on today, too, but fuck it, I wanna rec things. If you missed it: We're trying to get people to rec things on Thursdays now. It's great.

This week I offer vids, because I am tired and vids make me happy. I'll try and be more indepth or at least offer a theme next time around, but VIDS. I guess there's a loose theme in that these are all fairly focused vids -- single character or pairing in a single fandom -- but that's about it.

ABIGAIL. Abigail Hobbs is my favorite and I would like a million tributes to her that are this goddamn pretty. This song is so hard to match the frantic energy of, and this absolutely manages it while making use of the gorgeous and surreal imagery of the show at the same time.

Honestly, I don't usually click on vids if I don't know either the vidder or the artist unless something really catches my eye. But there are so few Fury-centric fanworks, let alone vids. And I'm really glad I did this one, because it's gorgeous, and really interesting to boot.

I love everything about this vid starting with the summary ("You got dreams, you got dreams, you got dreams, you - oh, shit.") and ending with the everything else. I'm trying to have more to say but the entire thing just sends me into happy-flaily isn't-it-awesome glee.

Aaand I can't find a fifth and I am tired enough not to twitch at it, so I'm going to leave it there for the week. <3!

I need to backup and do comment responses because my inbox is at 50 and this right here is the road to either dropping every conversations or else the 300 notifications that got me to finally switch journals, so this entry will be brief and I will not make any more til I wade through backlog, goddammit.

However! There's finally a meta-roundup community again and I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH PLEASURE I TAKE IN THIS FACT. I'm so excited I'm linking it! I never link shit! (I'm trying really hard to change that but it still basically remains true.)

So -- I find one of the things that suits pretty well while I'm working, on days just listening to music doesn't cut it, is listening to read-aloud compilations of Tumblr or Reddit posts on youtube. They're short, they're funny, they don't require much brainpower, and they don't suck me in so much that I mind pausing them if work requires more attention.
