Snowflake Challenge: Day 9 + 6
Day 9: Commit an Act of Kindness. In your own space, share what you’ve done, talk about what you’ve done, or simply leave a comment in this post saying you did it.
This is such a lovely day, but I am so stuffed up that I was having a lot of trouble deciding what to do; I want to go to day 6 and try to fill some wishes, but I'm not sure how much I'll get to. However, the ever-fantastic-and-lovely
analise010 posted about her plans to comment on 0-comment podfic, and I think I'm going to take up that charge as well -- either with short podfic, if I can get my ears to work for it, or vids.
And hey, that'll also fill day 4 (commenting to a stranger)! All that leaves after the rest of this one is trying something new, which... depending on what I watch/listen to, I might be able to fill too; and of course, my eternal favorite, reccing other people's stuff. I will try and get to that one tonight, because after doctors tomorrow, I have no idea how able I'll be to do it for a couple more days.

Day 6: In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.
1. Community icons: I'd really love a couple Annie icons, but I was having trouble finding much of anything; if you have a direction I can look in, I'd love a link.
2. Icons with text: I have many, many spaces left, and while I adore my lovely textless icons, sometimes I miss icons with words on them. I particularly like pretty lyrics, quotes from canon, or general phrases; I don't have an up-to-date fandom list, but I have a semi-out of date one from my last journal; I'm still here for most of those things, I mostly just expand instead of removing. (Text-only icons also welcome, but it's really the mix I'm missing, and particularly fannish icons, not stock.)
3. Transformative works statement: I am far from the only person suggesting this, but if you don't have a transformative works statement already on the home of most of your work, please consider putting one up! If you have no idea how to or even what I'm talking about, here is the fanlore page, which will explain much more clearly than I can right now.
4. Sickfic: I have been miserably sick/in pain lately, and I kind of want to inflict my misery on others right now, so if you have any recs for characters being sick and/or in pain I will take them. I'm leaning slightly more towards caretaker-y h/c stuff than anything all that dramatic or depressing, but honestly I will consider the later, just give me a warning. Again, slightly out-of-date fandom list above; if you go a shippy route, I multiship the crap out of basically everything and poly piles are my jam, but for MCU specifically, I'm really not that big on Steve/Tony or Clint/Coulson. Otherwise... really, just go for it.
5. The Path fic: I have next to no hope of this existing already, but what the hell, I'll give a long shot. My mother got me into the Hulu original show The Path, and frankly all I have wanted since the very first episode is Cal/Sarah/Eddie -- in particular, AUs where they got together when they were younger and Eddie first showed up, whether they stayed together til showtime or broke up or whatever. Fandom is not providing, but if anyone out there has a desire to write it already, I promise at least one devoted and gleeful fan. I've only seen season 1 yet, but I'm spoiled through the whole thing, so go for whatever you want.
(Or, uh, if you've watched and want this and want to encourage me to write either the AU where they run away from Meyerism together as young adults, or the AU where they become the Meyerism power trio leading things together, knowing somebody else would be interested might help me get it down on paper eventually. That is also an option. Just, somebody ship this with me please.)
