Chocolate Box 2019

Dear Chocolatier,

Thank you so much for making me something! Here is a list of likes and prompt ideas; if any of this inspires you, great, and if not, I hope you find something you can enjoy doing. And apologies if you're here for art; I'm not sure how to prompt for art, but I did my best.

DNWs: Graphic blood or gore, PWP, humiliation/embarrassment played for laughs, graphic noncon. I'm not a huge fan of explicit sex in general, and I'd prefer to avoid character bashing.

General Likes:
Chosen families, domestic fluff, relationships getting through rocky patches, relationships that are unbalanced or unhealthy but not necessarily abusive, people with unhealthy relationships to their emotions trying to figure out how to have healthy relationships, "us against the world" narratives for both friendships and romances, D/s dynamics and lifestyle BDSM, narratives about loss or change. I'm okay with anything on either the fluff or angst side for relationships, from happy first get-togethers to breakups. I'm also a fan of ridiculous pining tropes like forced to share a bed, fake dating, or for poly relationships, falling in love with an established couple and trying to hide it; I'd prefer those to have happy endings, but the more it makes me want to shout "just spit it out", the better.

For AUs, I am always a fan, and the only kind I'm generally not into are historical ones. Some general favorites: "what if" scenarios from canon; soulmates; BDSM-verse; post-apocalyptic; in space; any kind of fantasy/magic, urban or high or something in between; werewolves, fae, or other kinds of supernatural creatures; reincarnations of past friends/lovers meeting again; Hogwarts.

Specific fandoms are listed in order of pairings from least to most, so if you're going for one of the smaller ones you don't have to scroll as much. I don't have prompts for every pairing, more of a general fandom overview, largely because I got hit with sick right as I was getting this ready and if I try to summon up the brainpower for that, I'll be here another week. I assure you, though, no matter how much I have to say about any particular pairing or fandom, I would be absolutely, unbelievably happy to receive every single thing I signed up for!

(And I doubly apologize if you're here for art; I meant to try and be better about suggestions to artists, and I completely failed to manage; I love fanart for my favorite friendships/ships and I can't draw, so I will be thrilled with anything you want to go for.)

Alice Isn't Dead (Podcast)
Keisha | The Narrator & Sylvia Parker

First of all, I am perfectly happy to have Alice show up in a story, in passing or as a character; despite not requesting them, I did really enjoy Alice's character and relationship with Keisha. That said, I really loved Keisha's developing friendship with Sylvia, and her attempts to keep her safe; and the Oracles were hands-down the most fascinating part of the podcast for me, so Sylvia is basically my favorite on every level. Anything you want to throw in about her after her transformation is great, but I'm also happy with moments between the two where Sylvia is still human!

Chess - Rice/Ulvaeus/Andersson
Anatoly Sergievsky/Svetlana Sergievsky
Walter de Courcey/Alexander Molokov

The version of this I'm most familiar with is Actor's Fund of America, with the recent DC version a close second, and Royal Albert Hall video a slightly distant third; but feel free to go with any interpretation you'd like, blend them together, or whatever you'd like! (It seems like the DC version sort of revived the fandom a bit, so if you're most into that one, please feel free to go for it -- especially with these pairings, as Walter was basically my favorite, and I really loved the intensity between the Sergievskys.) Also, if you're an angst fan, Sergievskys are a ship I often go to to have my heart broken; whether it's angry, or tense and quiet, or just sad, I'm always here for them and their marital issues. (I would prefer for there have been some real emotions in there somewhere between them, at some point if not currently, to a completely loveless marriage.)

The Good Place (TV)
Tahani Al-Jamil/Chidi Anagonye/Eleanor Shellstrop
Tahani Al-Jamil/Chidi Anagonye
Kamilah Al-Jamil/Tahani Al-Jamil
Kamilah Al-Jamil & Tahani Al-Jamil

For threesome things, I do ship both other parts of the triangle; but while I feel like I can find plenty of both of those ships on their own, I actually started shipping it from the Tahani/Chidi angle, and there's barely anything for them. I'm always interested in neighborhood reboots we didn't previously see, so if you want to go with something where they were soulmates, or all three of them were soulmates, or somehow they just managed to blunder their way together anyway, I'm good with that! Real-world season 3 stuff is also great, though, and I'm perfectly fine with something that starts between Chidi and Eleanor growing to include Tahani, especially if you want to go that route. As for sisters, whether it's a shippy direction or not, I'd prefer the dysfunction in their relationship not be completely ignored; I'm fine with fluffiness, but I'd rather there at least be the sense that they've really had to work at things than handwaving that suddenly they're fine, and I'd prefer at least a little tension still in the relationship.

Hannibal (TV)
Abigail Hobbs & Hannibal Lecter
Abigail Hobbs/Freddie Lounds
Will Graham & Beverly Katz
Beverly Katz & Jimmy Price & Brian Zeller

Abigail and Beverly are my favorites, and I really wish both of them had survived much longer in canon; while these can basically all be done in canon time, if you want to go an AU route where they survive, that's good by me in all cases. In Abigail's case in particular, I love how complicated and messy all of her relationships in canon are, so the more layers and manipulation you want to put in, the better. On the other hand, the more Bev can be a stable and caring thing for any and all three of the boys, the happier I am; gen fluffy hanging out would be just as great as something serious or tense for either of those.

Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling
Narcissa Black Malfoy & Andromeda Black Tonks
Bellatrix Black Lestrange/Narcissa Black Malfoy/Andromeda Black Tonks
Regulus Black & Sirius Black
Sirius Black/Remus Lupin & Harry Potter
Hermione Granger/Remus Lupin
Remus Lupin/Minerva McGonagall
Remus Lupin & Minerva McGonagall
Teddy Lupin & Draco Malfoy
Teddy Lupin/James Sirius Potter

There are three rough but distinct sections here: Black Family Dynamics, Remus Is My Favorite, and Yay Next Gen. So far the Blacks go, whether you go an incest route or a purely gen familial one, the thing I love is how fucked up everything about the Blacks are in the books; there are so many ways to explore how that kind of household influenced the people growing up in it, so go with whatever you want. Siblings who hate each other is just as interesting a route to me as a "life is hard and our family is difficult, but I've got your back" relationship. (I'd also love to see something where Narcissa and Andromeda reunite after the events of the book, whether they manage to work out their issues or everything goes terribly.)

With Remus, he really is one of my favorite characters, and I'm happy to see anything that works for the pair picked, from school years (through AU, or with McGonagall) to a post book survival AU. For Hermione/Remus, I'd prefer an AU from at least around Deathly Hallows-era, not something set during POA or even OOTP, unless you want to go with Hermione having a crush, which I'm good for. With Sirus/Remus and Harry, I'm good with AUs or something set with a very tiny Harry; for AUs, I'm equally interested in an everyone-survives AU or one where the Potters still die and they take Harry. Something with at least a little angst or dealing with the sadness of the premise would be preferred to something that ignores it entirely.

Next gen: I have not read Cursed Child and honestly I don't have much interest in doing so, so I'm going strictly from fandom things (I got into next gen fandom basically the day after DH came out), but as I understand neither Teddy nor James show up much in it anyway, so if you want to steal anything for it, go for it. My only real dislike is when any of the next gen kids are exact carbon copies of their parents or grandparents; other than that, one of the things I love about the practically-a-blank-slate sections of Harry Potter fandom is seeing people's interpretations of the characters we know nothing about, so go with whatever you like. And as said, I really like how messed up the Blacks family as a whole is, and since Draco is part of that family, that aspect creeping up between him and Teddy would also be great (or if you want to have Draco & Teddy & Narcissa & Andromeda in the same fic, I would be 100% good with that).

Overwatch (Video Game)
Ana Amari & Reaper | Gabriel Reyes & Soldier: 76 | Jack Morrison
Ana Amari/Moira O'Deorain
Ana Amari & Moira O'Deorain
Ana Amari/Soldier: 76 | Jack Morrison
Ana Amari/Reaper | Gabriel Reyes/Soldier: 76 | Jack Morrison
Reaper | Gabriel Reyes & Angela "Mercy" Ziegler
Soldier: 76 | Jack Morrison/Reinhardt Wilhelm
Jesse McCree/Reaper | Gabriel Reyes/Soldier: 76 | Jack Morrison
Fareeha "Pharah" Amari/Reaper | Gabriel Reyes
LĂșcio Correia dos Santos & Satya "Symmetra" Vaswani

This is a pretty new fandom for me, so unfortunately all I really have is the fact that, as my requests show, a large part of my interest is for the original Overwatch group; whether it's filling in the backstory gaps or something where people meet up again afterwards, this is very much the part of the fandom that stole my interests. Angst, fluff, drama, sad things, whatever you want to go with, I'd just love to see any of it. Lucio & Symmetra are the big exception; Symm is just my favorite, hands down, and Lucio is such a fantastic character, and then add in the reasons they have to be against each other on top of that, and I'd be fascinated to read anything about the two of them together.

(The only more specific prompt I have is that either of these threesomes are ones I'd particularly love to read 'third person pining for established couple ending in threesomes' fluff for. I don't care who's doing the pining for Ana/Gabriel/Jack, but I'd prefer Jesse on the outside for the other one.)

Marvel Cinematic Universe
Clint Barton/Laura Barton/Natasha Romanov
Loki & Wanda Maximoff
Jane Foster & Darcy Lewis
Jane Foster & Natasha Romanov
Jane Foster & Maria Hill & Pepper Potts & Wanda Maximoff
Brunnhilde | Valkyrie/Jane Foster/Thor
James "Bucky" Barnes/Jane Foster
Peggy Carter & Tony Stark
Peggy Carter/Howard Stark
James "Bucky" Barnes/Peggy Carter/Steve Rogers
James "Bucky" Barnes & Peggy Carter & Steve Rogers & Natasha Romanov
Peggy Carter/Steve Rogers

I have a specific DNW for this fandom: I'd really prefer nothing Infinity War-centric for MCU, whether during or set in the direct aftermath; I still haven't seen it, although I'm thoroughly spoiled, so feel free to make mention if you want to set something set well after the events have settled.

Beyond that; Peggy and Jane are tied for my top all-time favorite in this fandom, as is pretty obvious. If you want to set something in the current timeline, feel free to do whatever handwaving to get Peggy there, right up to ignoring the problem entirely. I'm coming up blank on notes for most of these; the only thing I'd like to mention is that, while I ship Peggy/Howard pretty hard, I can't see them being good or healthy together, so while I'm down for fluff, I prefer for them to be at least a little dysfunctional in a romantic relationship. Beyond that, in direction opposite of the above, there's very little genre/trope-wise I wouldn't be interested in for most of these together, so go for what interests you!
