Bits and things and a meme!
So my period has come to say hello! (I have PCOS and am not on birth control, this doesn't happen often.) It is incredibly heavy to be with, and I'm still coughing which makes it even worse. I am so ready for it to go away. Or at least to be done being otherwise sick.

Work stopped giving me tasks in the afternoon yesterday, and today I've gotten, like... two of them. It's definitely not just me getting it, so there's nothing I can really do about it, numbers are just down for now. I should probably be bothered by this and the lowered paycheck it will cause, but I feel so crappy I'm kind of relishing the break. I can think about other things! It's amazing!

I need to write up some Tarot stuff from Solstice. And sit down and work with my ridiculous list of goals/resolutions for next year, because New Years is approaching very fast. Maybe after there has been food, we will see.

This is one of my favorite memes and it appears to have cropped up again so:
Give me the title of a hypothetical fic (and fandom/characters/pairing if you like, or tell me to go original if you are inclined) and I will:
- tell you what it's about
- recall my favorite or least favorite parts
- possibly attempt to write an excerpt of it
I don't have a standing fandoms list, so a quick one off the top of my head since a few of them include caveats:
Umbrella Academy is my main obsession right now even though I haven't written it; The Bifrost Incident is #2.
Hannibal (but I still haven't seen all of season 3), Firefly, New Albion/Shaperaverse, Burn Notice (early seasons), The Devil's Carnvial, Sanctuary (mostly the Five, though), Chess (musical), Hunger Games (books), Pushing Daisies (though I also haven't written that).
... And most other things you've seen me rec/mention/write are probably fair game, though my standing with MCU right now discounts like. half of the canon.

While we're on memes, I still have days for the January Talking Meme. I was gonna repost the link after doing the friending meme that's going around, but I keep drawing blanks on commenting there, so I'm not sure that's happening at this point.
