I'm in the middle of work stuff for the day, so I will hopefully post properly later, but this looks like fun, so via

However, from a sideways perspective! We have blackout curtains over both our bedroom and office windows upstairs. This is about 90% because of my partner's eyes, which do not like light a lot of the time, but as somebody who worked nights for two years and had to sleep in the brightest room of the house and now still ends up regularly nocturnal, I have developed a strong appreciation for them.

I guess this is sorta related: We started homeschooling when I was 8 (little brother #1 was a couple months old at the time) because I was having bullying issues after changing schools. It was supposed to be temporary while we tried to get me in at my old school, but it actually worked out pretty well, to the point that both the boys have been/are being homeschooled too.

- A necklace with a dragon curled around a blue ball, which rolls, which is one of the most low-key but soothing things to fiddle with
- A bracelet with large, round, clear beads
- A chainmail hackey sack. I have no idea how to play hackey sack properly, but I love my little ball, it's so good to play with.
- A tiny squishy Sam Wilson tsum tsum my partner got me. He has wings! I can stick my fingertips under the wings and make him fly! ...Weird things comfort me sometimes. (My partner has a tiny squishy Natasha that they occasionally pull out for me when I am stressing too hard to remember to grab something for myself. It is also great.)
- A Stimtastic tangle.

I'm not sure why I feel this strongly, I just really hate it. XD

Okay, hmm, actual facts. So this apartment, and the last one we had, have a washer/dryer in house, and I do not know how I survived without this for so long. (My family's mostly lived in complexes with laundry rooms for a while now.) It makes life so much easier.
On the other hand, I do miss belting at the top of my lungs in laundry rooms because they were separate enough and I generally went late enough that I was alone so.... Get something, lose something. XD
