My answer: The two main things I've been told stories about being scared of that makes me go what the hell:
1. A motion-activated witch that would cackle at you. I would probably love that thing now, but as a small child, it terrified me.
2. Stephen King. Not his books, the person. I have no idea why. My mother was a huge Stephen King fan, she actually wrote her thesis on him when I was young, and apparently I was convinced he was a monster for years.

In other news, I am staying at my mother's for a couple day to watch the dog and the grandmother and keep the brothers on task while she's not here. This is not the most thrilling thing I've ever done, but eh, she needs the break, so here I am.
I need to get back to replying to comments and talking meme posts and also just being around. It's been a long and not-great few days for me mentally, but I don't feel awful today, so unless being with my grandmother really knocks me down the ladder again (which is possible) hopefully I'll be in a decent place and can catch up a bit.
