It's a mixed-up, muddled-up, shook-up world, except for Lola
I've had a very back-and-forth week or so, and I had a downright fucking terrible couple of days somewhere along the way, but I seem to be surfacing from the worst of it, which is nice. And I'm being productive today! Which is making me hopeful that things will stay relatively okay for today, at least.
Some general notes from the last few days not related to that:
- I bested my Camp NaNo wordcount, which... I am trying to feel good about, on the one hand; on the other, pretty much the entire 8k came from DWRP tags, and none of it was fic or original writing, which is not what I was hoping for. But it was words! And some of them are words I'm proud of! And I had such awful times at the start and end of this month! So I'm trying to balance that emotional weird.
- Sleep was being weird for a couple of days there, but I think it's straightening out again? That or shopping with my mother just knocked me out last night, who knows.
- I have discovered people reading Choose Your Own Adventure books on youtube and it's... fun but also really just making me want to read CYOA books for a bunch of people live. Which I do not have a group of people to do that at. There is a part of me really tempted to get a discord chat or twitch stream or something going, but this is probably going to end up under the many other things I wanted to do and did not end up doing, because gathering people for stuff like that is hard.
